*errr wasn’t suicide

This is an important nuance.

I thought judges, not police departments, set bail?

You’re only dismissing her, though, because she didn’t say something that fits with the narrative you believe happened. You’ve set up a situation where, by definition, someone’s testimony is only credible if they’re supporting your view — which is hardly the way to get at the truth of anything.

This is obviously horrible all around, but discussion about the events itself (not the implications of them) is basically pointless. There could be 100 contrary autopsies, and Gawker readers will still instantly discount them and think she was murdered. (Just like 100 contrary autopsies wouldn’t convince those on a

thank you as well!

thank you!

I’ve never played these games, but want to. Does the release of this make the older ones obsolete, or is there still reason to play them?

I’m sure he does, and I’m glad you also enjoy it. I was making a joke about the fact that, from one perspective, posting about a character’s “great strut” could seem a little bit like a non-story, and thus an excuse just to talk about the game.

ok friend

alrighty. I guess we disagree.

Look at that article again. “Hot” is in no way being used as synonymous with “attractive.” They are talking about her career and popularity.

You know all tall blonde white people don’t look the same, right? There are pretty ones, plain ones, ugly ones, unremarkable ones.

The fact that she writes her own music indicates that she has musical talent, and thus would have a greater chance of succeeding in the music industry even if she was less attractive.

Do you get directly paid by Blizzard for posts like this, or does it just absorb into the general Gawker coffers?

Uhhh have you ever looked at humans in the world? There are plenty of skinny blonde girls who have unattractive or unremarkable faces. Stop being dense.

ok boss

Just because she’s a tall, blue eyed, skinny, blonde haired white girl doesn’t mean she’s attractive. Go to a mall in America, and you’ll see hundreds of unremarkable tall, blue eyed, skinny white girls. Who do you think benefited more from their apperence, Taylor or Britney Spears? Taylor or Christina Aguilera?

She is tall, skinny and blonde. So are like, millions of other girls, who aren’t necessarily attractive. Taylor ain’t ugly, but she’s far from a knockout, in conventional terms. And the fact remains that she’s far less sexualized than Katy, Gaga, Nicki, Beyonce, etc. And she writes her own music.
