No, now the “joke” actually makes sense for the many, many, Kotaku readers who have no fucking clue what World of Warcraft armor looks like.

Actually, that doesn’t remotely explain why the tweet’s notable. Are the shoulder pads in Warcraft actually big? Are they really small, and this is in jest? Does this refer to a particular character? Has the size recently changed in the game? Is there some meta-conversation about shoulder size in the Warcraft

I know it would take a little more work, but sometimes you should include a bit of context for the tweets you post, because not all of your readers are nuanced in the intricacies of Warcraft shoulder armor. It makes it hard to understand why it’s notable, but you’re just presenting it as if it’s some mic drop comment.

Totally agree. It’s Season 2 that’s the problem.

You very well may be right — it did happen pretty quickly.

I’m pretty sure that the dealer, knowing he had no way out, shot the hostage in the head before turning the gun towards the cops (and getting blown away himself)

We live in a culture in which someone expressing casual romantic interest in someone else now always risks being considered harassment/triggering/objectifying/etc.

:)

Fair enough, but Rhianna tries infinitely harder to be hip and edgy, and Jezebel is obsessed with her. *shrug*

you are a funny person who makes funny comments on the internet, I hope you have a good day

If you like Lana, you should give her pre-Born to Die album a shot. It’s different, but really good.

Lana is a literal goddess

Thank you for this. I am convinced that 90% of the Jezzies who fawn over her couldn’t name 3 of her songs.

True Detective season two has undeniably become a rote procedural

Sonic Youth is only relevant because people who listened to Nirvana pretended to like them too; Lana, on the other hand, is a goddess.

ok champ

i know white people am i right?

Who gives a shit what Kim Gordon says?

The degree to which Lana makes better music than Rhianna is so great it defies expression.

I should have clarified. You can’t not believe that it exists as a theory — of course it does — but you certainly can not believe that it’s a particularly valuable theory, and you can not subscribe to its implications.
