Officers say he blocked a police cruiser with his bicycle in the Old Market and that they saw him “turn his bicycle towards officers, load his pedal and attempt to flee while riding his bicycle directly at officers.”

They didn’t “contact the police for safety assistance”, so you gas them, beat them, and arrest them? But you can’t understand why people hate cops.

Can someone explain to me again how dispatching a disproportionate amount of officers in riot gear to a peaceful demonstration against police brutality isn’t just proving the protesters’ point?
