Well this is the first time injuries have ever played a factor in the NBA playoffs, so this is important to discuss

“If he doesn’t, and the Raptors win, do they get the asterisk for beating the Warriors without Durant, or do the Warriors get asterisks for titles they won with him?”

Fair, but here’s the thing: all sports team owners are scum, even the “good” ones.

I said this elsewhere, I’ve been a casual Warriors fan most of my life and pretty dedicated for the last decade or so.
I feel comfortable accepting that they’re the villains in a lot of scenarios. I still like the players but having the owner group be a bunch of Venture Capital douchebags has really made it hard to

A venture capitalist pushing around an actually talented person at their place of business? Wonders never cease.

Drake: I’m going to be the most dislikable courtside presence ever!

...yes, that’s exactly the implication the sentence you quoted was going for.

Yeah, that’s exactly what she’s saying: that the reporters absolutely knew who he was and chose not to report it.

It’s time like this when Donald Sterling misses being a minority owner.

Unless Lacob plans on giving back the 2015 trophy, “injuries suck, but they happen to every team, deal with it” will carry the day.

This has become too easy of an out for Warriors fans. If they win without KD and Klay, the level of boastful pride is going to burn this country to the ground.  If they lose, they have an automatic out and will apply an asterisk to this championship.  We all lose.

Now Steph knows how LeBron felt those 4 years they played in the finals

Don’t forget, it’s awful now it used to be so much better when I was a kid.

I don’t really understand this one. They’re upset that they bunted to break up a no-hitter. But they failed to defend the batter from hitting the ball with his bat and getting on base. Does a no-hitter feel good if you know the opponent didn’t actually try to get a hit?

I mean, Double-A is basically the bush league, so...

Baseball: Where it’s totally not cool to do your job to try and beat someone else in the game you’re playing, but it’s absolutely fine to throw a projectile at someone’s face if they watched their home run for too long that one time 10 months ago.

Yard Goats are wrong here. A four-pitcher no-hitter is not a No-Hitter.

I’m going to preface this with saying I’m not in NY, and I’m not from NY, so I’m sure all the “NYC IS THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE” people are going to decry this take as “you’re not from there, so you can’t possibly understand,” but...

If it doesn’t matter, then neither do they. So it has to matter.
