I’m almost 6' tall which is just a bit above average height in America and it’s way too small in virtually all seats to comfortably accomodate my legs. 

I’m a pretty average-sized guy, and on most flights I can’t get close to reaching my ankles/bending over without banging my head against the seatback in front of me, nor can I twist myself without inconveniencing my seatmates.
