***SPOILER LADEN MINI RANT AHEAD***

Yeah I didn’t realize it right away, it’s kind of subtle but it was a surprise when a few days after seeing TLJ I found I hadn’t thought about the next movie at all. Wasn’t eager to see the next installment.

I think this film really revealed Rian Johnson to not be much of a “team player”. He’s an indie filmmaker, used to doing his own thing, and as a result, I think he utterly failed in making part 2 of a trilogy. It didn’t build momentum... it ground it to a halt.

The pot shots he is taking here isn’t against those that were levying legitimate criticisms at him, but were full on attacking him.
