It's pretty crazy how much I can overlook in the way of plot holes and weak writing after I see Morena Baccarin's name in the credits. From that point on, it's "When is she on? There she is, there she is, there she is!! Wait, don't go! How much time is left, will there be time for another scene with her? There she is,

It was a funny moment, but I knew right then that they were headed for a plot hole. You'd think at least one of the writers would know enough about firearms to know that you can't just dig bullets out of wound and stick them back in a magazine and fire them again, not even magical(ly intact) platinum ones.

The same thing happened when I tried to stream it from Comcast's site. Apparently, they have episode 2 mislabeled as the pilot. I went through a sequence of
"WTF, 'previously on', isn't this the first episode?"
to
"OMG, putting a 'previously on' segment on the pilot of a time travel series may be the most brilliant

I was pretty impressed w/ Kingdom, especially as an original series on a network I had never heard of.

And the "stand on her own" aspect is what I think Sherlock was meaning by 'matriculation.' Despite the reviewer's assertion, Sherlock never actually said Kitty was going to graduate to becoming his official partner, Joan jumped to that conclusion, Sherlock just didn't (have time to) correct her.

All the loverly.

When 'The Shield' first aired, I was not familiar w/ Anthony Anderson. After seeing him as Antwon, I started recognizing him in other shows, and I was tempted not to watch some of them because of him. I HATED him. It took me quite a while to realize that it was Antwon that I hated, and that Anderson was a much better

I got a chuckle watching Sherlock pull out a magnifying glass to review the old images, briefly creating the iconic 'master detective' image, before pulling out another magnifying glass, and another…

I don't read the comics, so I don't know how it fits with that timeline, but when I watched the boxing scene, I got the distinct impression that Det. Eddie already knew/ suspected Barry's alter-ego.

The character was originally introduced in 'Red Dragon' but was not the main character. The author recognized the appeal and gave him a much more prominent place going forward. (Personally, I thought Red Dragon was a much better book than any of the others in the series). The polydactyly does seem to have been removed

Anthony Hopkins wasn't even the first to portray Lecter, though, and his performance now looks cartoonish compared to the truer-to-the-source material depiction by Mikkelson.

Your spelling of Merle's name caught my attention, and reminded me of an interview w/ Micheal Rooker I watched a while back. He said everyone was mispronouncing Derle's name.

I read the scene w/ Kitty & Joan as indicating that Watson was herself a rape survivor, and was speaking from experience.

I wondered if it might be some sort of displaced/projected criticism of Joan's new love interest.

From what I saw of it, which admittedly wasn't much, I'm not sure the military and their families are the natural audience you think they are. As a veteran from a long line of veterans, and with active duty family, I found it fairly disrespectful to the military. And not very funny overall, which is why I watched so

How did I become an atheist? I actually read the Bible all the way through.

For quite a while, I used the audio from the basement meeting (https://www.youtube.com/wat… as my voice mail greeting. I got quite a few hang-ups, but didn't find out until I changed the greeting that at least some of them were from people (strangers) who called just to listen, when I started getting messages like

Did someone say Kibo?

She didn't know in advance she'd be cleaning pots. She got stuck with that job because she was the last volunteer to arrive, just as anyone else would have been.

I think she's on Bishop's payroll, and the white card was a message of some sort.
