I'm not familiar with the comics, and haven't seen the movie, so didn't have a lot of expectations about the show. I did not know the pilot was going to be set in Atlanta and though I've been away for a few years now, I spent most of my adult life there, so that was a pleasant surprise. I used to live on Edgewood

I thought her arms looked a bit bigger, but not necessarily from working out, but I am in complete agreement about not "going gaunt." I think both Katie Cassidy & Willa Holland have gone further in that direction than benefits them, for example.

I'm probably going to catch some flak for this, but I'm going to pose this question anyway: Did Felicity/Emily Bett Rickards put on a couple of pounds?

Diggle has spent time in desert combat carrying full gear, he's probably much less susceptible to the heat than most. For example, take a look at Roy's face when they exit the taxi at the hotel, it looked to be covered in sweat, and he hadn't even exerted himself yet. (I don't actually think that was a specific choice

I wasn't here for those flamewars, and I'm not trying to start a new one. The attractiveness of the male characters seems to be a fair topic of conversation, and that (the lopsided ratio) is what prompted my comment. And my recognition of the ladies' attractiveness is not ahead of the show itself, I enjoy the show on

Ed Man Walking.

That's what I thought too, but in the final scene, it turns out it was just the shiny mannequin giving the appearance of a face shield.

I'm a little surprised at the lack of comments about just how attractive these ladies are. While I find Nicole Beharie considerably more alluring than Lyndie Greenwood (who is undeniably pretty), this episode showed them both looking especially yummy.

Reminds of “Why don't Baptists have sex standing up ? Because that might lead to dancing.”

I got the reference.

You've got it backwards.

On 'Talking Dead,' Chad Coleman stated that Tyreese thought he had killed the guy, he didn't intentionally spare him. Of course, as experienced TV viewers, we knew that since we never saw an actual shot of the dead body, he was almost certainly going to re-appear.

The Taliban had actually all but eradicated opium production in the areas they controlled. Now, Afghanistan's opium production is at an all time high. If you read about Britain/China & the Opium Wars, and the cocaine smuggling associated with Iran/Contra, you can't help but wonder what true motivations are in play.

Considering the setting, nutria probably are more likely to be featured than otter. I don't think they are known for their playful antics, though (unless that's a euphemism for invading & wrecking non-native ecosystems).

… Eva … appeals to me …

Yes, take a look at her left leg when they hug. She looked like she was about to do a full body embrace, then thought better of it.

What you say is true, but I don't think it really applies. The meeting was not out of context, if Peter had met her before, it was almost certainly in the company of her father. But there was absolutely no indication from any of the three of them that they had met before; if they had, one of them would have said so.

A career politician met and then forgot the daughter of his campaign manager/chief of staff? Hard to swallow. Plus, Eli introduced them like it was the first time, not, "You remember my daughter…" It's a minor point. doesn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the episode, but it did stand out to me.

My only real quibble with this episode was the scene where Eli introduced Peter to his daughter. How is it possible that Peter had not met Eli's daughter before now?
