god, I hope so.

Plus, the Fallout 3 DLC was pretty good in my opinion. Each one seemed like a more or less complete adventure with added weapons and enemies. I think maybe they were starting to feel like jerks after the whole horse armor thing and have tried to change the way they think about what DLC should be.

How does his argument sound like a "self righteous hipster"? I would actually appreciate foreknowledge of content on a disc that is locked to me when I purchase the entire product. At least I would know that I am not allowed to access certain parts of my product.

Even if it didn't look like a ton of fun, nostalgia alone demands that I purchase this the moment it appears physically in stores.

my wife and I still shout Scooter slogans at each other. Also, we live in the South, so at work in the morning, a friend might seriously ask me to "come get you some coffee."

Agree 100% on the examples you bring up (esp. the twins and the cannibals). I enjoy this show, but feel like it would actually be so much better if they stuck as close as possible to the comic books. The plots in the books all have satisfying resolutions, there are interesting twists and revelations about characters,

my wife and I were talking about this, and we decided that Shane needs to die in the same way as the books in order for that moment to be the most powerful for all people involved. If it doesn't happen that way, then the moment will take away from some of the characters' evolution into who they will become.

I also thought this argument was a little suspect. When the Skyrim expansion/DLC stuff comes out, will I pay for that 15% world expansion on the zillion hours of playable content? Of course I will, b/c I will enjoy entering that world again.

I can't tell you how many times I accidentally hit that damn reset button in the middle of a long playthrough of Wonderboy 2 or something, watching the title screen pop up again. It was demoralizing.

Aaaand...now I need therapy. Thanks.

Listen to Steven Wilson's (remember he produced "Damnation") new solo album, "Grace for Drowning". I swear that there are parts in some of those tracks that were made as a direct homages to Chrono Trigger and Secret of Evermore. When you hear it, you will always hear it. Really, it makes the album that much more

What was that mediocre one his son did? I always wonder what it is about his directing that changes those films into something great.

While I agree w/ you, the person on twitter seemed like a real selfish and petulant little turd. Sometimes you need to call a spade a spade, right?

I was just about to type the same thing. I felt that the second game had a much tighter story with fewer plot holes. The third one just felt more like a string of great set pieces to play in than a good story. Great game, but the story fell apart after the 1st act.

to tell the truth, I think a disco Dazzler in the 70s could be totally awesome if done right. Plus, perhaps you could also include some other "all-new, all-different" xmen from the 70s

I think people were mainly enamored of the portrayal of the characters. That's what I enjoyed the most. I liked seeing two young guys play Xavier and Magneto. I thought that was compelling, although there were some parts I found lame (i.e. Darwin inexplicably not evolving to survive).

B/c comics.

that description made me want to weep. all those things together are the equation for man tears.

my wife and I just watched that movie the other night. It was like listening to an arcade from the 80s/early 90s, which is a pretty awesome thing to listen to when you can drown out the sounds of annoying kids and dudes with hairlips.

Really? That's interesting. What other characters came as part of that? Mole man and Blaastar? I'm interested in what Fox and Sony actually own.
