If you want to see a cool restoration series on Youtube for one of these, check out Ronald Finger on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7MvJcb2I6mYLHlI7eyPZ9JHE2Znstm0y. I voted NP on this, but I had one and, I still have PTSD from working on it. It drove like a dream, but I would never own one again.

1979 Ford Fairmont. This was when I was a teenager, and you will quickly see how todays parents differ from parents in the past. I told my dad that the brakes were not working on the car, and he told me that they worked just fine. You just had to pump them a couple of times when you wanted it to stop. So, I drove this

It should have Trunk Monkey, not a trunk kid.

Jaloptimism has been added to my browser dictionary. I have experienced much suffering because of this condition. I just never had a word for it until now.

Truth in advertising. Jeep CrapCan or Jeep Junk. Jeep Junk is alliterative, so I think that would be best.

Once again, this article demonstrates Torch’s automotive lamp fetish. While endearing now, it caused many issues in high school when he asked a few of the girls to show him their headlights and was misunderstood. I believe most of the restraining orders have expired by now.

Makes you wonder if he woke and and just thought, “How the hell can I piss off a major portion of our readership today?”

I was, once. I started yelling and demanding they give me my keys right now. Made quite a scene and I like to think cost them a few sales. I left a tire mark from one end of their parking lot to the other when I left. Yes, I am a redneck. No, the car did not have a locking diff, so it was a tire mark.

Oh, that made throw up a little just looking at it. Hell No! Kill it with fire.

Yes, as long as they are replaced with 9-1000 hp cars.

“Holy Grail”

No Dice, these things are not that expensive in good condition, and this thing needs a lot of work. If you were willing to take on that much of a project, I think you would just build one. Kits for these are about $4K.

1990 Prelude SI. I loved the pop up lights and they already handled well.

Came to Jalopnik to be entertained and was not disappointed.

No dice, you can pick up one in reasonably good condition for about $3,000 and there is no way the list of things to be done on this would end up less than that. For example - https://www.carfax.com/vehicle/1FAFP45X43F377652

A 1970 VW beetle and a 1980 VW Scirocco. The beetle was the car I had my senior year of high school and I loved that car. I can’t exactly put my finger on why, but it was my favorite car ever. The engine needed work, and I needed a car that was more reliable than a 20+ year old classic and could not afford to keep it

I would bring back Pontiac, and create the brand to focus exclusively on enthusiast cars. They could still be parts bin cars to keep R&D low. I would love to see a new TA, a small truck like the VW Amarok other countries get, a fun inexpensive electric car (think electric Miata), a bonkers off-road vehicle, and halo

You are trying to make sense of Jamie Lynn Spears, that is where you went wrong.
