Now that one is a solid, ND!

Welcome, Lawrence! It sounds like you are an an enthusiast, not just a writer looking for a job, which is refreshing. I look forward to your perspective. I would love to here about your experience as a American black man with the automotive enthusiast community. Some of my black friends have shared with me how they

NP, I think you are a bit light on the prices these things are bringing nicely sorted. These things are going up in value quickly and they are dead simple to work on. Assuming the frame is not rotted out, and the interior is mostly complete, this is an easy NP. The parts alone are worth more than the asking price. For

Nah, I’ll keep the wife, ditch the stuff. However, I have friends that have went through divorce, and can confirm. However, they tend to loose the stuff they actually want, and get stuck with the crap that neither of them wanted.

This. My wife and I are approaching 50, and it has hit us how much stuff we own that we will never actually use. Our motto has become “Stop storing stuff for the estate sale”. However, it is surprising to me the level of sentimental attachment we can develop for inanimate objects that we have no use for.

There are several, but if I could only pick one, it would be my 1981 Scirocco (I think it was an 81 - I know it had a 5 speed). I have had better cars, but I don’t know of any cars I have enjoyed more.

The picture was a joke, but you are correct.

Yes, I have a bad habit of underestimating the stupidity of people, although you would think a lifetime of experience would have cured me of it by now.

The following is the list of people who purchase this thing (other than reporters in press events and youtubers) who will take this thing off road:

No, not especially. Just ambivalent about it I guess.

Probably true, but at least they seemed to make an effort to be unbiased and objectivity was valued. Now, as you can see in other replies to my comment, if you even mention it people act like you are an activist or something.

It’s not. I am talking about the site in general, not a specific point in this article.

No, I am opposed to Trump. It it is true that I am what used to be considered conservative (small government, less taxes, free trade) which used to be Republican. Now Republicans seem to stand for nationalism, isolationism, and racism, all of which I fiercely oppose.

Noticing and accepting are two different things.

Sadly, I have to agree with others have said on this post. A key factor in journalism is objectivity and lack of bias. That is clearly not present at Jalopnik. This site is an automotive (most of the time) blog, but each day it contains less and less of anything that could be construed as journalism. Don’t get me

What?? None of us have ever done anything like that and you are a bad person and should be...... Hold on, my wife is asking me when I am going to dig that French drain I have been putting off for a year to keep our house from flooding during the next big rain storm. I’ll have to get back to you.

No Dice. Carvana has 100D for $67,000 with similar miles. When dealing with a car this expensive, it should either be from a dealer or be discounted significantly for a sale by owner. Also, this has had at least 2 owners already and the seller has only had it a year, which could be a indicator that all is not as well

David, you are one of my favorites on here, and I say this with much love in my heart, but you wouldn’t know trusty if it bit you in the ass. Perhaps you meant rusty?
