Maybe it depends on the branch? I have bought 2 cars from them here in TN, and could not be happier. Good to keep in mind, I guess.

Caravana and Carmax are growing for one reason. Used car dealers suck. They are dishonest, high pressure, pains in the ass to deal with and everyone is sick of it. I know I can probably get the car cheaper somewhere else, but I don’t care. I want to go buy the car and not feel like I need to take a bath in Clorox

I was NP, until I got to the miles. That cuts that value in 1/2. Also, no way I would deal with someone who sets requirements like that. ND

This is a terrible idea. Prius buyers and the like (including some on this site) have made an absolute crusade out of hating on trucks. A full size, electric F150 will introduce a paradox that could cause some of them to have strokes. Think of the children, people!

I don’t like the new design, but whatever. My real gripe with this site is how political it has become. I used to read both Jalopnik and Gizmodo, but I never read Gizmodo anymore because it is just a bunch of political BS. This site is becoming the same thing. I don’t even click on 3/4 of the authors on this site, and

Are trying to run this website into the ground? Because this is how you run this website into the ground.

That makes sense. I never did any modifications to mine, and I cut my teeth on old Datsuns, Hondas, and Toyotas, so I am more familiar with them, I guess. I never could understand how that engine could be so big compared to the Japanese models and yet seem so under powered, but mods might fix that.

NP, not for me, but if you want one, you are not going to find another one this nice easily. It is quirky enough and there are enough Wankle nuts out there for this to find a home.

Why would anyone do that? (Source: Former owner of Ranger with 2.3 and 5 speed). I would go with a Toyota 20R and 5 speed at least to keep in in the same family.

Great. Just, great. Now you have added another vehicle to my want list.

Had one, spent more time fixing it than driving it. Had a gremlin I could not figure out. No one would work on it, including the Pontiac dealers in my area (this was prior to them not existing any more). Sold it the next week. It was a hell of a lot of fun to drive, though.

Slow car fast = Fun. Same reason a old CRX is a blast to drive.

Those will still be functioning vehicles in 5 years.

They claim to be journalist, so the comparison is fair. This blog runs on money, and conservative money spends just the same as liberal. This blog is a business. It stupid to piss off half your customers.

That is a perfect example of what I said elsewhere. There is a difference in a post containing politics, and one that is a political rant. Sure, politics are a part of life, and they will be a part of the article. David mentioned it, and moved on. He did not launch in to a tirade blaming, Trump, Obama, or whoever your

If I could give more stars, I would. I can sympathize with the other poster about toxic beliefs, but the danger of limiting debate is far worse in my opinion. If toxic ideas can be debated, they can be defeated. If they are suppressed or dismissed, they become conspiracy theories which are virtually impossible to get

There is a difference in having political issues in a car article, and having a political article disguised as a a car article. There are tons of articles on this site that the sole purpose they were written were to express the political opinion of the writer. They claim to be journalist, yet refuse to approach issues

I’d read it.

Grow up? You first. Adults should be able to debate topics on their merits without making personal attacks.

No, the world is not shitty. There are a lot of shitty things going on, and we are all aware of them (Covid, racism, politics, wars, injustice, just to name a few). But there is a lot of good too. You see what you look for. Does that mean we need to ignore the bad? Absolutely not, but we should not only focus on that.
