The last two motherboards I bought came with bags of screws, but no standoffs. You don’t need them.

You shouldn’t need those plastic standoffs any more. The screw holes in the motherboard are isolated from the circuitry. This also give the motherboard a better static ground.

I just installed the update, seems to be pretty stable and looks good. I’ll continue to test it.

The only reason Trump wants to repeal the ACA is because it’s known as Obamacare and he just cannot leave that be. He has some deep-seated hatred of all things Obama that has plagued him for years. I really hope it keeps him up nights.

A long time ago, when I was using McAfee, I ended up getting a virus anyway. They wanted to send me to another company that was going to charge me $150.00 to remove it. I uninstalled McAfee, installed Kaspersky which promptly removed the virus and I haven’t got one since.

Yeah, I would probably clear everything from Startup first to see if this fixes the issue. If so, then add things back one at a time. Also check their browser extensions; these tend to hog a lot of resources.

Task manager tells me that disc is at 100 percent.

Well, you made me look. I use Office 2016 and my .pst files are indeed in Users\******\Documents\Outlook Files

Did you mention saving your .pst files if you use Outlook?
