Just like Kevin Smith dresses really cool in a 1991 kinda way.

People can have opinions, the Chasing Amy assessment is demonstrably wrong, but Smith is a very Marmite director so you can’t blame people for not liking him really.

I agree with you. I still liked parts of it - there were flashes of brilliance throughout, bogged down with what felt like a lot of unnecessary, unfunny and boring sequences. I would have preferred if it had been 9 episodes of really good material, instead of 18. But, yeah, as a continuation of the original series, I

Stipe’s really rocking that “failed artist who’s opened a small gallery to stay in the scene” look.

The American (late career) Morrissey.

I especially hated the Dougie stuff that just went on and on and on. Anything involving Dougie was horrible. I think I only liked the first couple episodes, the weird mythology episode, and maybe the last couple episodes.

Couldn’t agree with you more. So, so awful. Nothing redeeming at all about it.

Agree on all counts. I had to stop watching for concern it would taint my deep love for season one (and it has some).

...its flavor can be a bit thin and harsh, with a sharpness that reminds me just a little bit of booze. It feels unfinished...

Fuck this shit. Pabst! Blue! Ribbon!

I didn’t think it was awful, but I starred your comment because I agree with a lot of your criticisms.

Right, are we even drinking the same beverage? Cold brew is one of the smoothest and least acidic coffees I’ve drank. Only outdone by nitro cold brew.

Here, here. Tomato paste and vinegar - or pickle juice. Ketchup is way too sweet and full of chemicals. Baby carrots? Overprocessed and overpriced.

I don’t know why, but I find that baby carrots don’t cook up nearly as well as plain whole unpeeled carrots. They’re mushy & watery, rather than tender.

Agreed, if the person interviewing me cannot remember anything I said nothing in my interview stuck out to them, I shouldn’t get the job. If you cant remember anything about a candidate but a thank you note is what jogs your memory, I would question if the interview process is being taken seriously.

Not to mention they're getting paid to do their job. You're probably not getting paid.

Not a hiring manager, but I am involved in interviews and hiring in my department. I’ve had people send notes, and if anything, I’m less likely to want to go with the people sending notes. I’ve yet to read one that didn’t come across as unctuous or a waste of time. The waste of time ones (things like a quick e-mail

I get enough notes and emails. Please don’t send me more. I’m quite aware you are happy you got an interview.

Me?
