I found the same thing happened to me, they really do grow on you, both Demons and Dark Souls are in my top 10 games of all time for sure now. I play a lot of games so I am leaving room they really might be in my top 5 but I would have to actually make a list :)

Good luck man I hope it works the game is great, bad PC ports suck and it is a shame the bar is set so low for some of them.

I played Dark Souls first which then made me want to play Demons Souls.

I knew about hitting O but never could figure it out since I hold a direction when climbing lol.
