Cabin and Engine air filters. I swear I’ve had the filters sitting in my trunk for weeks waiting to be installed, but I just kept putting it off. The fact that it’s so easy and quick actually made it easier to put off - “Oh I’ll just change those real quick tomorrow before work”

Sure but at least make it an option.

Mazda isn’t going to add a bunch of weight and cost to the Miata when it’s currently just as quick as this will be anyway.

Damn shame they won’t put a sunroof in these. Yes, I know, it is a light sporty car but I spend more time driving on the street than I do on a track. Lack of a factory sunroof is the same damn reason I didn’t buy the FJ Cruiser when I was looking at them.

[P]lease get a manual.

It surprises you that people don’t understand Octane? We’re talking about the same population that filled trashbags with gasoline in their trunks because a pipeline shut down for a few days. Think about the most average person you know, then remember that roughly half the people buying gas are dumber than that person.

If your engine is naturally aspirated and not high compression, running anything other than the recommended 87 is throwing money away. It’s that simple.

Sorry Liz, but Chris is wrong. Engines are designed to run on the recommended octane rating, no more no less. Getting premium gas when the engine doesn’t call for it is simply a waste of money and yields little, if any, benefits.

As a fellow owner of the previous last MT, RWD V8 sedan, I know better than to think our purchases will make the slightest bit of difference to GM (or anyone), and if I trade my car for this one it will be in the expectation of knowing this is really really it.

As a current owner of the old “last” RWD, manual, V8 sedan, I hope this new “last” RWD, manual, V8 sedan sells well enough to prove to makers that they still need to make products for enthusiast buyers. It clearly won’t sell a ton at this price point, but hoping for a 20% manual take rate (and hopefully higher in the

I always thought the WK generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee was a stunningly attractive SUV. We got one as a rental on a road trip in 2019 (remember those?) and it absolutely hooked us. And after putting more than 5,000 miles on it, we were quite confident that it would work for us long term.

Exterior styling is frumpy and dated. Especially the chrome doodle. The current GC has a recognizable profile that they should have worked harder to preserve. My first thought was...Toyota Highlander. Which is sad.

There is going to be a short wheelbase 2 row version as well.  This is the long wheelbase version shown and talked about.

Your dislike of SUVs doesn’t actually mean that Jeep of all brands shouldn’t be capitalizing on one of the primary niches in the segment.

The current generation, I feel, has become rather iconic. In a sea of overstyled, swoopy, droopy or overly aggressive looking crossovers, the Grand Cherokee has a solidly handsome and understated design. And even though it’s unibody, it still comes off more as an old school SUV. My dad and brother each have one of

I’m sure it will grow on me but I’m not really digging this thinned out upper grill on this and the Wagoneer. It looks like is slopes back into the car on the bottom edge.  I also thing the lower grille is a bit garish for the otherwise classied up exterior. The interior looks like a nice place to be but the diamond

This is a Durango replacement, full stop. You have to wonder is Stellantis aiming to kill off both Chrysler and Dodge, or just Chrysler?

My dad is 68 and drove sedans his whole life, manual sedans at that. He has a 2018 Grand Cherokee and you can not drag the man out of it. He absolutely loves it and will take it to Vermont at the drop of a hat (right after his nap).

I had to google that color, HOT DAMN that’s good looking

Awesome! SS is 2017/auto/sunroof/Light My Fire Orange and my GC is a 2014 and came loaded all the way. Like yours, my GC is white because I wanted to minimize the look of the chrome on it. Back then, they didn’t have an option for swapping out that stuff to body color parts.
