I’m in the same boat. I was GenX up until Millenial became a thing. But much like Mazda wants to call the Miata the MX-5, I will have none of this reclassification bullshit.

A further problem is that as those boomers are retiring/dying, their positions aren’t being filled. Either their pay rates are receiving substantial downgrades, or the positions are being eliminated entirely, so millenials (now in their 30s, for the most part) have no real income ladder to climb. It sucks. A lot.

We can’t do that, that would be communism!

As a milennial, I might get in trouble for mentioning this, but we are actually meeting late next week to discuss new ways to fuck that up.

I take issue with the idea of millennials or GenZ killing” or “saving” industries. What is killing the automotive industry (and dairy, jewelry, etc) is capitalism. The tenets of capitalism keep wages low, but raise prices as high as they will go for max profit. Over decades, this philosophy prices younger people out

Hell yes, and I had been counting the days since I was like 11.

The problem wouldn’t be you being a skilled driver, it would be you interacting with those who aren’t. Honestly, the biggest problem on freeways would probably be lane discipline if such a license existed. All the “I’m doing 5 over the speed limit, he can go around me if he wants,” people and just plain oblivious

That won’t stop the unlicensed drivers in your scenario from 1) driving just as fast anyway, or 2) running into your smug ass and your high-speed license plate. Probably while not insured.

Interesting. Utah was one of the first states to do an 80 mph limit and the data showed almost none of what this study found. Marginal changes in speeding or injuries and people, for the most part, still just drive 80.

“We really don’t know why, aside from this is the way we’ve always done it.” will get you fucking fired if I ever hear that from an employee for doing something as ugly/bad as these graphics. (I am product owner for a software development team.)

The new Bronco is based on the Ranger/Everest T6 Platform so its very likely that the mule is using ranger/everest body panels.  It will surprise no one that what we are going to get is a shortened chassis everest with US powertrain options.  Kind of like Ford’s FJ cruiser.

Same designer:

It’s a completely different approach, but I always liked Ferrari’s Enzo mule:

Using this as an excuse to post a pic of my favorite mule ever don’t mind me. It's a Jaguar XJ220 powertrain mule.

This Jetta bodystyle is one of the greatest sedan designs of our era. That is all.

The people voting “NP” here have obviously never owned a Mk4 Jetta.

Manual wagon with sexy VR noises........MMmmm.  This is an easy NP for me.  But I have plenty of VW maintenance experience so I know what I’d be getting into.

In defense of the 3.6, it doesn’t need more power when you get the 8-speed. I rented a 3.6 GC w/ the old 5-speed auto, and that one could have used more power...

When my mom was in the market last year, I convinced her to pick up a brand new 2014 GC Limited 2WD with the Pentastar V6, Luxury Group, and trailer group (just in case). It really is amazing how far SUVs have come for this thing’s ride to be comparable to her Cadillac while getting better gas mileage and being a

I don't know what it is, but those first gen GC and the video of it driving through the glass is pure America.
