i think it's especially weird given that Michael's death didn't happen at the season finale. or mid-season break. usually major deaths that happen right before a pause in episodes tend to land better with the audience (ex. how to get away with murder)

i think the show handled the time juno & death as true to the show as possible - that is, emotional core stays rock solid while the telenovela influences stay heightened and outrageous.

i actually predict a "lust" triangle over Nathaniel between him & Valencia. regardless of Valencia's new leaf, two alphas in the same place twice is a recipe for sexual tension.
