i can definitely see a West Side Story "Quintet"-style number, with smash cuts to everyone's different emotions building to the climax of Rebecca walking down the aisle

oh thank you! completely drew a blank. hopefully we see more of Michael Hyatt next season 👍🏽
ICONIC
i screamed and fell out of my chair when i saw him. as creepy & horrifying as he would be in real life, i LOVE him. i can't explain it.
i totally agree - there was a stretch in the early 2000's when he was worse than Adam Sandler, & NO ONE wants to be there.
Mama Bear Donna Lynne is the best Donna Lynne
YUUUUP. The actress who plays Sara, Tanisha Long, already had CXG in her twitter bio - maybe she plays a bigger role on the show for next season?
i was a little nervous at how easily Valencia situated herself in her once-rival now good-friend & ex-boyfriend of many years' wedding, not to mention she's planning the wedding she wanted before Josh & Rebecca screwed her over. It was a little too tidy for me… hopefully next week will give some more natural conflict…
it's frustrating and maddening and beautiful and you need to watch it
I agree with this - I'm 25 and I know plenty of people my age who still love the books or who never read the books. there are quite a few mid & late 20-somethings who grew up not being into reading at all (unfortunately)
after her settle for me reprise i always miss her
I 1000% agree with this - a series gag? hell yes. a 3 episode gag that is forced like this? meh. if George's song happened at the season finale, it would've been the best thing ever
Bird Greg was TOO MUCH I had to pause the episode and cried from laughing so hard
yes! i remember hearing that story elsewhere - i believe it was TLC's Waterfalls. which sounds like it would've been amazing
without spoiling too much…
basically pretty dream-scene Rebecca/Nathaniel song & dance duet, and awkward situation/sexual tension between the two at Whitefeather.
yes that's right! i remember that story - i believe it was a cover of "waterfalls" by TLC.
in the commentary on the show's S1 soundtrack recording, Rachel & Aline did say they were excited to write more songs for Vella. hopefully Stuck In The Bathroom isn't the last Heather song! i love her voice so much
i can't remember where i read it, but Rachel Bloom did an interview this summer where she said the producers plan to switch it up & have the theme song serve as the season's "thesis", and change to match the overall season arc. definitely looking forward to more great intros!
THANK GOD
I screamed at my DVR. I still can't believe they got Tony- & Emmy-winner Tovah Feldshuh to sing that way-too short reprise.
