the Flooded With Justice music in the background was inspired
if there were categories for grading, the only C- would be for songs, this far into the season has way less catchier songs than S1.
also my DVR recorded the preview and I AM ENTIRELY TOO EXCITED FOR REBECCA/NATHANIEL NEXT WEEK
this episode was frustrating, but absolutely necessary to the plot of the season & the show - but although seeing the patterns of delusion and forcing a relationship were incredibly annoying as a viewer, the writers & actors definitely sold it with great nuanced acting and catchy as hell songs.
i'm really happy to…
agreed, the kids are fantastic actors. and i like that analogy about Justin Hartley!
honestly… idk anyone who watches this show and liked Toby…
does Kate still have that personal assistant/nanny job? I thought after she made nice with the mom & daughter, she decided to leave the job. I assumed she is still currently unemployed after Kevin left for the west coast…
it's part of the "fall" circle jerk that basic white women age 25-35 freak out over every september
it was their take on Mel B as scary spice - heather's too was flashier than her normal attire & her hair had more volume
your first sentence is exactly how I feel about this show when it gets too self-referential. CXGF is at it's funniest when it is exposing its characters flaws's in a genuine way, or showing the second hand humor outright. love it
as weird as this ship is, and as much as I ultimately ship Rebecca/Herself……
as soon as Trent showed off his dad-bod in his reprise of "sexy getting ready song", I was DOWN FOR IT. #trash
even in previous episodes, you can see the difference between her Real Petra & her Aneska as Petra - the slightly more distinct accent, an extra stutter here or there. Yael is excellent
Jane mentioned as a side that the money was found - one of the bussers accidentally took it back to the kitchen while cleaning up
I agree the episode is much better than the review suggested. and you are 100% right in that boogeyman theory, I have many older female relatives who warned me constantly about that as soon as I turned 18. it took a while for me to realize the hypocrisy people have towards the spectrum of sexuality
oh Lawrence was looking fine as HELL
yeah i said in my previous comment i agree it could have been a long time ago lol.
slight note that in previous episodes, Jared said he did not go to college (that is why molly ended things with him before).
But I agree in the sense that the encounter was a long time ago, & shouldn't be a big deal, were it not for the very-real bias against sexual fluidity for black men
THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING.
The Greg & Josh duet was one of my favorite things the show has ever done. Like every joke, every pun, every harmonized note was spot on and I AM HERE FOR IT.
I'm so so so SO sad to see Santino make what seems like his exit, hopefully just for a season or two (knock on wood).
(EDIT: just read…
i don't know exactly why, but even since the beginning of this season, I thought Wes was under the sheet.
