same and SAME - even with birth control pills. i'm gonna do research on hormone profiles.

that's not necessarily true - i myself (and other women i know) get super horny right before or during our periods.
anyone else burst into tears at Jianyu/Jason trying to connect with Janet & sadly muttering "you're the only person here who is nice to me"? brb, crying forever
no you definitely have a point! you're absolutely right when you say "if the show followed more tropes or was more linear, he would complain about not pushing boundaries". at least more people are realizing Alston's unnecessary nit-picking.
thank you! exactly.
maybe this show it just proving the point that you don't need a conventional, traditional linear storyline to make good TV and to get great performances and interesting writing? I loved this season so much, and I'm happy to see that it is getting a lot of positive buzz and good ratings.
hhm that's a valid point thanks!
that's the first thing I thought, especially seeing Annalise's reaction!
I can't buy that Asher is that broke. wouldn't Asher's father was competent enough to leave a substantial amount of money to Asher in his will? I'm assuming that he didn't change his will before his suicide. How much could Asher's mother really legally intervene in not letting Asher get anything?
Did anyone else catch Martin Mull's character mistaking Montez for Selina - as he revealed that he found the missing Nevada ballots, & Selina ended up winning the original election? That's the set-up for the next season right?
maybe my comparison isn't exactly correct. i meant that like Empire, UnREAL took a fresh & unexpected take on an unexplored area of pop culture, got a ton of attention w/ it's first season twists & turns, yet is flopping in the 2nd season trying to out-shock itself. plus some characters are all over the place with…
I love watching this show, & I agree that it is perfect for binge watching (which is what I did w/ season 1 a week ago)
but WOW the grading is very subjective on AV Club. when we give B's to basically perfect episodes of Breaking Bad & House of Cards, yet we give THIS a perfect A?
I suppose I'm just now learning the…
no, bad press alone most likely isn't going to get her kicked off the throne. But royalty have been under the watchful eye of the public for centuries. Kate Middleton for example. and the princess is making headlines, Alice was reading an article about her staying in LA. I get the wanting to rebel with her initially…
I do love Rahimi as the princess, but a true Middle Eastern member of royalty who wears the hijab, would CERTAINLY not walk around L.A. with bare shoulders and legs, right?! I'm not talking full burqa obviously, this is ABC. But at the very least, some extremely fashionable maxi dresses or skinny jeans. The pop singer…
no mention of Elijah at all, who gave a really sweet & authentic performance?? I truly believed his disappointment at finding out he wasn't as important to Dill as he thought he was. for all of Elijah's flamboyance & arrogance, the heartbreak in his eyes in the bathroom shows that all he wants is a relationship. Well…
like most people who watch this show, this is the most I have ever enjoyed watching Marnie, hands down. the writing was excellent, maybe the best Lena has done for this show. this season has hit a wonderful stride.
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT.
but yeah. i've been trying to find a way to explain it since season 4 of scandal. its just a little bit too predictable
also, I can see myself watching this entire first season solely on the merits of seeing Peter Krause outside of Parenthood, plus the fact that Mirelle Enos has the MOST infectious smile that I've ever seen in TV/Film/Theater.
If you know me, then you know I already ship Alice and Valerie.
Oh, Kayla, don't ever change. <3
is it really a magical negro trope, if the character was already introduced as her therapist? (and a very professional one at that, who didn't act "sassy" a la Whoopi in Ghost?)
