Where the badge on the back that says, “Steering by Taurus!”?

The ad says the seller is willing to discuss a trade for a full-size SUV, so...yeah. Not a stunning endorsement for owning this thing.

Not with that defeatist attitude.

Cars like this are just a scientific method to determine the average number of trolls who visit this site.

I mean, it’s a decent price considering the condition, but is a pretty meh car.

Barf a Japanese automatic. There will be no OEM parts available the reason they are likely selling it...

I could never get past the rear styling on the Solara.

That’s my thinking. I’d rather have a Miata, and if I really just wanted a convertible cruiser I can get a much newer Solara for that money.

“ND”

I drove a 1993 del Sol for a few years. One of the most surprising things about the car was the trunk space. For a fun 2 seater car, the trunk was pretty big. The targa top was removed manually and was stored on this clever rack in the trunk that could pivot up out of the way for trunk access. Even with the top stored

My thoughts exactly, I can’t believe Honda ever green-lit this idea.  It’s just an absurd amount of engineering for such a simple task of removing a targa top.

Like an otter.

Reproduction seat covers are made for these, and a ZR-1 would be worth the expense.

Agreed. I’d also suggest when I see this I am torn 50/50: Does that shine mean it’s as sticky as syrup or would you slip right off? Either way, simply nasty.

Personally, I insist on being able to slip around like an otter on a water slide, while getting blinded from sunlight reflecting off every possible surface at the same time.

Thought the same thing, just why, a car seat should NEVER be that shiny.

I think the sweet spot for pricing is:

It’s the multiple owners and mileage that kill the value. If this thing was one owner and >50K, I could see it fetching this price to a fanbois. And there are LOTS of them. Or women. In comfortable shoes, LOL.

If I was looking to spend $7-8k on a really really nice mid ‘00s Subaru wagon, and I came across this for $10k, I’d seriously consider it. But $15k is too much to not be a low mileage garage queen.

Like the Fiero the best year is the last one, 1991. They updated the motor, transmission, interior, etc... all came together the last year.
