Yeah, but it won’t be making anymore runs. Last time I saw it, it was on fire

About as attractive as acne scars.
I can’t get over how perfectly they matched the exterior color to Hearing Aid or Prosthetic Leg Beige. I’d say they did a better job with that on this Mustang than Top Gear did with their geriatric-mobile Multipla.
You’ll get a lot more than a year out of it. With the right owner in a non-rust belt area (or thoroughly Fluid Filmed), it can potentially keep going beyond when many 2022 model year cars will be retired. The EJ22 is the Subaru engine best known for longevity. You could double the mileage is has now with proper care.
With the Montana plate I expected this to be an ND based on owner, but it’s actually owned in Montana!
OK, you convinced me. I was all ready to say CP and that this was a $1500 car at best, but totally worth it if you get a winter or two out of it. Hell, with liability only, this car might save you money on insurance if you get a multicar discount (I know my old 99 Forester did in that scenario).
MY thought too. My friends new pintos dash cracked in about a year. The materials they used were horrible.
Those are original seats. I had the same pattern on mine.
When I was a kid we called the Pinto a flame thrower due to the design defect that ruptured the gas tank.
It’s period correct
We AMCs built in 1982 capable of getting to 197k? just making a joke.
Every used car is for sale because somebody thinks his life would be better without it. The buyer’s job is to figure out why.
Gee! Your hair smells like cigarettes!
I’m thinking that the picture was washed out and someone had to paint the door shutlines back in, and used too thick a brush.
Works as long as you’re a roadrunner...
This is a doorless prototype. What you see is just painted on.
I don’t always dump bodies in a remote field, but when I do, I do it low-key. No one suspects a Borgward.
At least the gaps seem to be consistently wide everywhere. Which is something some unnamed 21st century manufacturer of s3xy cars did not even manage a few years ago.
Borgward was also on a very tight budget towards the end there. I was wondering why the car looks de-chromed as the P100 was their absolute top-of-the-line model, and then I realized that this is the decontented, Mexican-built Borgward 230. A fascinating vehicle and story. The brochure is actually from 1967.
Those are panel gaps I'm afraid. Mass production of metal pressings was different then.
