If the used car market starting to inch toward sanity as we’ve been told, the seller may have missed the chance to get this much for it. A few months ago, would have been an easy NP. I went ND, but I’m really on the fence.

Personal coupes from the ‘70s were the peak of pointlessness, so only the most stylish ones have any appeal to me. This ain't it.

All of this seller’s bad decisions do not add up to a bad decision I will be making. ND.

I have no idea, really, but it’s not floating my boat. That weird piece of trim on the rear doors makes no sense, and the whole look is kind of incoherent, like this:

When it comes to online news, you’ll see edited copy on the WaPo, the New York Times, the LA Times, and maybe a handful of others. Beyond those, copy editing has become a luxury reserved for print.

I can absolutely picture this weaving through traffic at 90 on the Parkway.

NJ highway miles, you say?

As a serious person, I would be asking, “Are you serious?”

As others have noted, the presentation of this red car is a red flag.

“no control of third parties and other tenant/s on the premises.”

I know the sun has had its way with the paint, but the mismatched body panels make me wonder about the history of this thing. Either way, it will take a lot of work to make this any kind of fun. ND.

The Pilot has now grown a foot over the original. Looks nice and all, but I feel like it’s losing what made the original great: Classic Honda packaging sorcery within modest and maneuverable dimensions. I hope it’s at least as bulletproof as the ’07 and ’10 versions I owned.

If you’ve just stolen something, wouldn’t you take a Lyft?

Not-crazy money for what looks like a well-sorted example. Sure, there will be grief down the road. But if people will flex about their willingness to take on, say, an Alfa, why not this?

I mean, not the whole burgundy over silver treatment, but the downsized B bodies started with a more handsome profile.

These looked much nicer before they squared up the C-pillar. Find me one like this in true mint condition and the price might be more reasonable.

I wouldn't rule out race as a factor in this story, but it's important to understand one thing about firefighters: As a group they can be ridiculously thin-skinned, especially toward any outside accountability. If this had stayed inside the "family," the two firefighters might have faced the consequences quietly. Once

Hadn’t thought of the visa angle, which is really creepy. They’re paid, but also effectively held captive to their jobs. Can the suicides be far behind?

Not the most desirable kit, murky provenance, an annoying list of broken things, and fairly anonymous looks. I’m not feeling it. ND,

This is, no snark intended, an excellent color for a truck. A Miata? Nah.
