Can tusks be stabby? Because I see tusks.

This is uncomfortably low mileage. Did it sit for years? If so, have all the rubber bits been refreshed? I’m suspicious of what we’re not being told.

“This is Route 25L, and this is Runway 25L. You see? Now try again.”

Really, if you want to DD a Panther, this is the one you want. Still rock simple, a few more creature comforts than an Interceptor, probably not beaten to death like an Interceptor. I had a Grand Marquis as a rental once, and I immediately understood why cops and cabbies love these beasts.

I can remember overhearing him on the phone with the dealer: “I got a ’76 Granada that’s not long for this world.”

I have never seriously considered owning a pickup. This could change my mind. Just add some kind of bed cover, if not the camper top, and I’m good. And the steelies. So good, and not the least bit out of place with the rest of the design.

One of my first bosses (manager of a stationery store) ditched his rapidly disintegrating Granada for a new EXP. He was a portly father of several young boys, but he used the EXP for his 40-mile commute.

This Plaid has become Tesla’s first hybrid. Striped here, Distressed there, Pleated over here...

For this I would endure every conceivable indignity of Jag ownership.

I know I’m in the minority, but the whole C-pillar/flying buttress treatment on these never looked quite right to me. Still, I understand these are much loved. With all the standard caveats, know what you’re getting into, etc., I’ll say NP.

Would this be a wise purchase? Absolutely not. Will somebody do it anyway? Yep. NP for whatever sheep goes to the slaughter.

I just remember they were notorious for squirrely braking.

GM’s 2nd-gen X cars–the Citation et al. The hatches especially were such a great concept: An efficient, practical size, but a notch above the subcompact penalty box you’d normally associate with the form factor. A modern FWD layout. I even like the look of the Citation in a form-follows-function kind of way. But no

Shrink-wrap that thing before you let it near your head.

Apart from the powertrain–admittedly a different one–it’s hard to put a finger on it, but I guess it was the general GM-ness. Like most GM products I’ve sat in or driven over the years, everything just feels cheap and half-baked.

Or just buy something else. My brother has a gas one, and even riding shotgun, the powertrain seemed annoying to live with.

I know, diesels last forever, blah blah, but I’ve ridden in what’s wrapped around this one, and I was underwhelmed. And the one I rode in didn’t have anywhere near 130K on the clock. ND.

As Bill listened to the wrong end of the gramophone, June realized that breaking a large bottle over his head could only make him smarter.

“Patted.” Such a cute, friendly word.

Between the air extraction vent and that tiny kink, they just went wild with the C-pillar.
