People need to play before commenting. The destruction is a lot more diverse than BC2. BC2 was scripted sequences, if you shot an explosive at a wall, it would always blow up the same way - the explosive just triggered the animation of the wall exploding.

Well there's server options for those. You just have to filter and find servers with infantry only. On PC it's easy since you can just look for servers with a max of maybe 32 or 24 players and then look under CTF, conquest, or team death match. Also, BF3 even had a map pack solely dedicated to just close quarters…
