The reveal of what really happened with Tysha will likely tame some time necessarily. It is the impetus for him killing Tywin.

So the Black Keys ripped off the White Stripes because they both have colors in their names? That's a stretch to say the least.

I just reread AFfC and DWD. Prior to re-reading them I had similar concerns going forward. But truth be told I think there is a heck of a lot more to tell than we give credit for.

That isn't really what Dorne is all about. If you believe Pedro Pascal, the Spanish accent was something he chose.

Seems like quite a few characters will be missing. Arianne? Euron? Aeron? Victarion? Arys? Just to name a few.

Perfectly stated. Agree 100%

So this album is a C- because of the lyrics? Interesting standard. You apply it to all bands because very few bands write good lyrics.

Well I sure hope that Jon's storyline has some major events ahead of it or GRRM has been trolling us the entire time.

There are still plenty of interesting characters, IMO. I just think that GRRM has put them on a backburner somewhat so he can get all the pieces put in place.

But that doesn't change my point. Lysa wasn't a major character and far from being character that people would be invested in, she is a character that most people probably cheered on to her death simply because she was so crazy.

Well sure but you are looking at it from a book reader who knows what is coming. For a show watcher, this is a notable event because they don't know what is going to happen in the future.

Her character is minor but the plot line isn't minor. It is a significant advancement for Littlefinger's story arc.

Spoilers from books 4 and 5 ahead…

They could push the election to next season I suppose. But I just can't see them pushing off the entire battle to next season. Dramatically speaking, they have been talking about Mance's army approaching all season. For them to punt that payoff until next season makes no sense. If they were going to do that then

Lysa flying through the Moon Door was filler?

I think the seige is going to be in in Ep 9, Watchers of the Wall. I suspect that the vast majority of Ep 9 will be wall related. It could even be the entire episode as it is one of the largest battles in the books along with Blackwater which had an entire episode devoted to it.

I just don't see how they can do that. If Mance doesn't attack the Wall then Stannis can't show up to the Wall. So that whole storyline is in limbo until next season. Unless they make some radical changes to the storyline.

Mountain was never portrayed as smart. Just vicious and evil and very good at killing people.

I think they are doing a great job with the Arya storyline. She is a much more compelling character in the show at this point than in the books.

Could be. I think LS meeting Brienne is still a long ways away.
