I had a 2013 Model S and have a 2018 Model 3. When I got back in an S the other day the interior felt ancient. I think the S needs an upgraded interior styled like the 3 with a new battery and some changes to the rear end and headlights. The prototype was from 2009!

Fake it ‘til you make it

ran out of grip, then talent

Welp, mine just immediately lost thousands of dollars in value

I went from ~20mpg premium in a 428i gran coupe xdrive blahblahblah to a Model 3, driving 12k miles a year it saves me $150 a month in fuel. The tax credits will probably cover two years of depreciation, so it will cost me next to nothing to own for a few years. But I would never consider an electric car that didn’t

They totally ignored the whistle too

The good news is that a gas or diesel engine is already so inefficient that the heat is free!

Imagine if soccer awarded penalty kicks for every foul. Arsenal 38 Cardiff City 29!

Half of all Model 3's were registered in California in 2018 because Tesla started deliveries in California, then the west coast, then spread out across the country. They did it to minimize delivery time for revenue recognition when they were low on funds. A car on a truck or a train somewhere is still not money in the

See also, giant ice spheres.  I’m not trying to break my teeth over here.

The third trip to Home Depot is called Ace/True Value.

Yes, they made the “40" in May of 2013 for like one week.

There was and I owned one of them! They only made about 200 Model S 40's, which were just a Model S 60 with a software paywall of $11k if you wanted more range. You could buy one for $49900 (after the tax credit). The official excuse was the real 40 didn’t have the performance, but I could see using a similar excuse

I was a juror on a trial last year for a lawsuit against Daimler Trucks North American’s Western Star truck plant in Portland, and it was almost exactly the same thing. Nooses, racist graffiti, intimidation and all of it was glossed over by management all the way up to the top. This went on for YEARS until the guy

BFR stood for Big Fucking Rocket, not Falcon.

Looks pretty cool but that back glass is a window tinting nightmare.

It’s hard to believe the head start Tesla was given. The concept Model S debuted in 2009!

I turned this game on in the 7th and switched it off in the 10th.  I’d say that’s a win.

I got a job making kitchen cabinets after I finished college with an Electrical Engineering degree and couldn’t find work. Found the job through Craigslist and showed up the first day thinking I was lost because it was a residential neighborhood and the address was a house. Sure enough, this guy has a garage bigger

So many ridiculous half-measures.  Just make a 300 mile range electric pickup.
