Motorcycle level of safety without the performance. No thanks.

I feel so burdened when Tesla comes out to my house (or wherever) to get my car, drops off a loaded loaner Tesla, fixes it, and then brings it back to my house clean, for free. Contrast that with my wife’s Lexus and the vaunted dealership model, where I have to drive it across town and sit in a lobby for two+ hours

Had a tow truck driver get a large black grime stain on my tan headliner when being towed. The most irritating thing about that was I have a black interior and a white car. Where does tan come into the equation?

I mock this commercial so hard every time. “helllloooooo insurance companaaaa”

I try to imagine what it’s probably like in their shoes. Maybe they have a shitty job/spouse/kids. And the last beacon of hope to brighten their day is to be one spot in front of me. Which is probably better considering they most likely last had their brakes checked around the time when people paid for ringtones.

I had some clown do this to me the other day for like 5 miles. I think he was patrolling the state based on the decals on his car.

I take it the H1 has yet to venture into the left lane (intentionally).

Best race of the year. You can't script the weather.

I spent hours researching where I could register my car to avoid the nearly 9% sales tax in AZ back in 2013. Montana was top of the list of (unlawful) shelters, specifically for RV owners. In the end I just paid up to AZ, ironically only about 9 months before I moved to Oregon where there is no sales tax.

So when Southwest and US Airways have the identical price for flights 75% of the time it wasn’t coincidence? It’s collusion all day long, hit them with a big hammer.

Doug, I’m starting to realize that the three cars you drive actually are a full time job. That and the excessive italicizing.

    1998 F1 GP at Spa.

Never thought I’d say it but I kind of like that Ford Mustang.

This little gem was in a crowded public garage at the base of the building I lived in in Portland. I routinely had to circle 5 levels below ground to find a spot. If I had a beater I would have backed ever so closely in there.

The Yas Marina Blue M4 at the Portland Auto Show was a smokeshow. Definitely like it with grey leather instead of tan though.

Just did a similar trip 2 weeks ago on the stretch of 101 you skipped in Northern Oregon. No neck warmers but the roof opens...
