Do you just have a chart? On graph paper? That’s how I do all mine. It’s called counted cross stitch and the clue is in the name- you have to count how many stitches you need to sew and count how far apart they need to be

My friend just had a racial hysterectomy and she was uncomfortable for about a week and fine now. Her op was mid December. Having to be a bit careful about lifting but feeling so much better and no longer in constant pain.

That’s a bit of an eggsaggeration . .

Finally finished the sampler!

Hmm. I’d say that was rude to voyeurs.

Nudity is fine in your own home. I don’t want to see naked bodies unless it’s the body of someone I’m planning to have sex with. I’ve never felt more british than when I arrived at the spa hotel in Germany and everyone in the pool was naked. Public nudity is not for me.

Men are the choosers too, commenting on women from the feet up as well.

Weird the stuff people will do to get on the telly. Or get off on the telly?

It’s not on cable. It’s on a terrestrial network. It’s channel 4, one of the 5 major tv networks available without any cable or satellite subscription.

They have women on too. It’s equal opportunity objectification. 

As long as it’s after the 9pm watershed. No fannies or willies, in any state, before 9pm. Think of the children!

Of course. It’s scary stuff. I would urge you to do so tho. They really helped me to be a better support to my friend- who is now in her 6th cancer free year.

There’s a fantastic restaurant called I Limoncini that my friend and I found, whilst out wandering in Rome. It was amazing.  

Do it. I can recommend the Black Country Museum (near Birmingham), Eden Camp (oop north) and in London, the cabinet war rooms plus a night sleeping on HMS Victory.

MacMillan cancer care have excellent resources on their website for you, supporting your mum. I found it v helpful when trying to be a good friend to my mate who was dealing with breast cancer.
