Getting Bethesda up to speed in Nintendo’s architecture plus providing the Nintendo-die-hards-on-budgets like me the first (!) chance to experience Skyrim is good enough for me, this will be the first time I’m playing Skyrim.

I know I’m an outlier, but portable Skyrim is definitely why I’m buying the Switch. An open world RPG on a truly portable platform is all I’ve ever wanted.

I’d be more inclined to agree with you if Skyrim hadn’t sold so money copies this past holiday season on PS4 and X1. There’s clearly a market for this game on anything that can run it, and a handheld form factor is a new market for it.

I was expecting an XCX port not a whole new Xenoblade. I hadn’t even heard rumors of this.

A major omission from this list is any kind of effort in giving at least a 1 line summary about what each movie might be about before asking you to watch 25 trailers :/

It’s a total overhaul, so no, not really. It’d be one thing if this was just a Game Boy port, but they completely remade the graphics, interface, and soundtrack, not to mention retranslated the dialogue. I don’t regret paying $14 at all.
