Nope. He was born in Lycia (in modern day Turkey) to a Greek family. Again, not a Moor.

No he wasn’t. St Nicholas came from what is modern-day Turkey. Moors came from North Africa. Not the same thing at all.

The people who live in the boonies in Saudi are bedouin, and they are far more laid back and easy going and often non-religious than their town dwelling fellahin countrymen. They are practical and the women have a degree of freedom
