Is that the new Labo line of bras?

It’s cool but it’s been done many times before.

Nothing like performative liberal feminism from a nation practicing ethnic cleansing.

My pets generally get nicknames that rhyme with their given names—and the cat is routinely mocked for being a fat asshole. That’s about it.

There’s not a damned thing wrong with loving or having an interest in a culture other than your own—but the performative “look how hardcore I am” bullshit some fans put on is

I’ve always loved the cultural tourism beginning anime fans engage in. My first exposure to anime was Robotech, back in the 80s, and I never really caught DragonBall Z fever the way so many of my friends did—but I’ve been an anime fan for more or less all of my life.

Also, MANY of the most famous ramen chains in Japan

Wiiiiiitch.

I came here to make sure she was mentioned and you have done it. Never have I felt so strongly about a fictional mom. Also, what a badass.

How in the world did Sachiko from Erased not make the cut?

Porco Rosso is one of my favorite Ghibli movies, I feel it’s underrated.
