Oooohhhh boy.... In my last relationship, I made ALL the income (he was BJJ instructor and made $1000/month) and I would lay awake at night stressing that if I lost my job, we were down to eating catfood. I was so relieved when we broke up. I don’t wish that stress on anyone.

My ex wife made/makes about twice what I make. And I was always fine with it. The career path she followed just pays a lot more than mine. How much you make isn’t a barometer on how good a person you are. Neither career was more important to society than the other. Just the way it worked out.
