The simple fact is that the Wall Street Journal is suffering the same fate of most print media, collapsing revenues in the face of a public that no longer wants to pay for the opinions of a random individual when they can simply watch another random individual express their opinions on Youtube or Facebook for free.
The problem is that ‘culture’ is not a single defined entity but a fluid concept who’s interpretation is entirely dependant on the individual, not one person represents a culture and can control its portrayal just as no cultural belief should have bearing on how an individual is treated.
