Thank you! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills whenever anyone talks about him dying in Logan and forgets that it explicitly happens in the future.

“that the events of Deadpool 3 won’t mess with that. The implication, then, is a multiverse...” No. Logan could take place after Deadpool 3.
“Dropping HBO from the name is cementing that ‘we’re not just a home for premium programming,’”
I feel like all this is to squeeze the last few sales out before Spider-Man 2 comes out. It has to be. It’s a first party title, no reason they can’t keep it on there, especially with the sequel launching soon. Probably going to release a trailer around Summer Game Fest, so the timing is very suspect.
Goes with how Vader was unimpressed by the Death Star. To make it work required a material attuned with the Force, without the Force it literally would be nothing.
Star Wars lore is always layered, and each layer after the first layer is stupid.
I’m not even being facetious: all deep Star Wars lore is deeply stupid and runs entirely off the false premise that more is better. It’s what led to something like the Obi-Wn show where he can’t just have been a hermit hiding in the…
Posting is his “passion,” he told the news station, so he’s intent to return to YouTube.
I watched four episodes before deciding I really couldn’t be bothered with it. I wanted to like it, especially in the face of the racist and sexist faux-outrage, but I just couldn’t get past the corny dialogue and the daft Irish accents for the Harfoots, as well as the occasional really janky CGI.
Lukewarm take: the show was neither particularly good nor particularly bad.
Anyone who uses the term “woke” to downplay something has typically been unable to actually give me a definition of what the word even means. They just don’t like it, so therefore it’s “woke”.
This world is becoming dumber, I swear..
Yeah Kotaku is trying really hard to convince that this is going to be a a gamer cultural touchstone movie that somehow is going to legitimize all of our childhoods spent playing videogames. If it’s not treated with the importance and gravitas it deserves it will be a major insult to gaming culture as a whole...
I refuse to believe that anyone cares as much about this movie as people are trying to *convince* me that people care so much about this movie.
Lets be clear about it, this is one of those “feature, not a bug” situations.
Andor was for grownups. That’s why there is a section of Star Wars fans who didn’t like it. They’re more interested in The Young Jedi Adventures.
LttP hard hard hitting enemies and it ramps in difficulty when you reach the dark world for sure, it’s still my favorite Zelda though.
The main reason you don’t see the old games re-released is because of licensing. Since retired players must be individually licensed (on top of the actual league license), the costs get really high, really quickly. Which is why when pubs and devs do spring for it, it’s when they like their odds of making their money…
I’ve been wishing for a new NBA Jam that has crossplay across consoles and PC. One day...
It might be because I beat LTTP once a year that I don’t share your view but what about it do you find frustrating?
Metroid Prime is damn near perfect. I’ve been playing through Remastered (in the Phazon Mines now) and just feels so good to play. There are a few design elements that are a little annoying but it’s such an awesome game. Dual stick movement also makes Samus feel much more nimble.
That’s the whole point. Nobody is supposed to be able to get every experience and learn the whole plot on their own when they go into the game blind. Everyone’s supposed to have their own, unique experience. The big picture is only revealed when the different experiences are put together.
