Yeah, that was a pretty incredible self-own on his part. Shows the shallowness of his argument and the very obvious perspective he’s pushing.

The gameplay ends with the player busting into a room where a family of four hides in the corner hoping to not get murdered.

I honestly can’t wrap my head around the argument that SEEING 9/11 is what “fucked us up,” not that it actually happened.

I do this constantly but especially with music. For example, Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit is now older than the Beatles’ debut single “Love Me Do” was when SMTS came out.

In what dimension is Piers Morgan a “nice person?” What she means is that Piers is nice to her personally, which is a remarkably poor way to judge someone’s character.

I couldn’t stand Trump and I’m not expecting hard hitting political journalist from Kotaku, so nothing against this article or anything. (I know it’s just in good fun) But this is such a great example of what the next 4 years in the media is going to look like for Biden.

Scalpers are the only reason it is possible to buy a PS5 right now because they keep buying all the PS5s. It’s so weird to just ignore that part of the equation.

I can’t go to BestBuy or Amazon for a PS5, but I can sure as heck buy one today if I’m willing to pay a little extra ($100 over retail here in Seattle). And adding to this, if the farmer would/could deliver it to you directly, it would very likely be much more expensive for both you and the farmer. Wholesalers are able to bring economies of scale to bear while improving access for both manufacturers and consumers. 

The milk wholesaler adds value by making the milk much easier for consumers to get. It gets the milk from farms all over the place and moves it to a convenient marketplace. They earn their markup by adding value.

This matches my feelings. 3D World is my favorite 3D Mario because it has linear levels and the control feels much more like the 2D games. 

Yeah, I couldn’t disagree more with that passage. To each their own, of course, but to me 3D World offers the best control among the 3D Marios by a significant margin. I came up with the original 2D side-scrollers, though, so maybe that’s why I prefer 3D World over Odyssey or any of the other 3D Mario games.

It was probably my favorite game on the Wii U and one of my favorite Marios ever, and I’ve never been a big fan of the 3D Marios in general. I personally liked it much better than Odyssey, probably because it incorporates more of the traditional “side-scrolling” elements than the other 3D entries.

The ending of GoT in particular really rocked me. What a choice to have to make.

Ha, I also thought this was simply controller being old. Actually glad to hear it’s a game thing and not an issue on my end. 

I’m having fun on the PS4, FWIW, even if it is still noticeably buggy.
