There is no lower form of humor than “Random!” And yes, I’m including ventriloquism.

Because falling, strangely, doesn’t actually kill you. You just lose a little bit of health. No loss of experience, no need to restart from a spawn point.

What? Why can’t you suspend your game in Outer Worlds? What is the difference between it and Death Stranded in this regard? It feels like there are paragraphs missing from this article.

Since I’ve written this, I’ve noticed that the ads have become even more intrusive and ridiculous. Not only does each page take forever to fully load now, the ads no longer stay within their boundaries and often bleed into the content itself, like a badly formatted Wordpress blog.

They killed it without any warning or send-off on purpose, to show that they not only didn’t respect or value Splinter, but that they had open contempt for its content and its staff.

Those were the same websites on which I enjoyed ungrayed status as well. Feels almost like a personal affront (and a badge of honor) that those were the sites targeted by the greed-monster hacks that took over G/O Media.

I don’t do Broadway all that often, but have definitely had the same experience. One theater in particular — might have been O’Neill, although I honestly don’t remember — I thought I was going to have to leave early because I was so uncomfortable. My legs literally couldn’t move and started to cramp near the end of

Same here. At 6'4 I feel like I’m right on the cusp being able to function in normal society without extreme discomfort. I’ve hit my head on things that “normals” never have to worry about.

It was one episode.

lol

I’ve usually seen it as the difference between hurting someone and injuring them, and it is definitely valid. It’s the difference between slapping someone and trying to break their jaw.

“... football is a physical game with a high risk of injury but not intent; ... the players aren’t there to injure each other.”

TIE Fighter

It is TIE Fighter, and one of the best games ever made. X-Wing was its predecessor, and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter was the sequel.

It really does seem that the “genius” of Gawker’s new private equity Forbes alum bosses is to load up a website with every kind of annoying ad imaginable.

It’s because it’s hard for a media organization to make money in general, and progressive journalists and columnists don’t have the billionaire/corporate funders willing to take a loss to pump out propaganda.

This infuriating. I suspected the worst when there were no new stories being posted.

Flag and dismiss the fascist trolls.

Yeah, this isn’t a $25 cut.
