1. Too little, too late, Quip. It’s not like this was the first indication that maybe Mr. Shapiro wasn’t a good dude. He’s been spreading virulent hate speech for many years now, and you still chose to advertise with him because you figured his audience of angry white manchildren might want to buy your shitty

He gets it. He’s just a bad-faith liar like the rest of them.

Most of his overt supporters know that supporting Trump is not about supporting “America” as it exists, but about supporting White Supremacist America. They’ll deny it with anger and act terribly offended, but that’s because they’re deeply dishonest and have zero respect for others.

You can’t separate the anthem protests, nor the reaction to those protests, from race and racism in good faith.

I still very much enjoy fast food. I had McDonald’s for lunch this weekend. I get it.

What an honor, getting to visit the White House and then getting served the cheapest fucking food that you’ve already had a million times growing up.

And I’m sure Lil’ Ben would stay consistent to his position if somebody criticized or mocked the “culture” of Jewish people in America, Israel or beyond, and totally wouldn’t shriek himself hoarse claiming victimhood at the hands of his virulent anti-semitic abusers.

What the ever-living fuck did Ben Shapiro say in his speech to the Conservative Opportunity Society?

She says the things that other overpaid white people want to hear. So they pay her ridiculous sums to continue saying them.

Actually I think their fanbase is largely is 20-30 somethings with young children. Seriously. There was an Imagine Dragons concert in my Midwestern hometown a few months back, and according to my social media all of my former classmates and their spouses took their kids to the show. It was strange and kind of

He’s basically what the movie “Rookie of the Year” would have been if the kid had been Ben Shapiro.

2) They’ll run on that anyway. Democrats don’t have to actually do something for Republicans to accuse them of doing it.

My evidence-free hot-take is that Romney—unlike Flake or Sasse or Kasich—would give Trump some trouble in a primary.— Isaac Chotiner”

It is often incredible just how hamhanded their propaganda gets. That’s not a headline, that’s a mission statement for a talking points blitz.

What the WSJ propagandists seem to be intentionally missing is that without the context of Trump’s scandals and controversies, a president visiting the troops just isn’t very newsworthy.

Should have replied with another simple note: “I’m deaf, asshole”

Thank you for the kind words and the link, both are much appreciated.

But it would still just be symbolism. And there’s a part of me that wants, and even thinks we need, a permanent symbol of what this generation’s Republicans are and represent. The Wall would be pretty darn perfect for that, as I’ve described above, particularly once it becomes a canvas for anti-Republican sentiment.

I mean, that’s fair. My idea is based entirely on getting substance (like DACA protections and more) in return for allowing funding for the Border Boondoggle. I very strongly oppose Dems backing Trump’s wall just to avoid a government shutdown.
