Why would you believe anything said by somebody whining about a “feminist agenda?”

Yep, and that’s the other half (side?) of the libertarian coin. A lot — probably most — of self-described libertarians are just conservatives that don’t want to call themselves Republicans. They continue to vote Republican in all elections, but will claim to favor “freedom” on social issues in public discussions so…
My friends and I have long described libertarians as B students with a superiority complex. They’re smart enough to actually read books and understand some political and sociological concepts. But they still habitually mistake contrarian takes as clever insights, and can’t seem (or, as you put it, are simply too lazy)…
A prolific and unsubtle racist cartoonist that is a Republican favorite. His cartoons are often unintentionally hilarious because, like many conservatives, he doesn’t seem to understand the concepts of subtlety, metaphor or satire. He’s basically the Onion cartoonist except in real life.
I’m more interested in these Metroid-like Switch games?
It’ll be how we looked back at dynastic regimes and all the corruption that was built into those institutions. As enlightened as we think we are in the 21st century, we’re still just a short stone’s throw away from royalty and feudalism and the horrible leadership structures of our ancient past.
I’d add the ability to use the original NES and SNES controllers. I know there are third-party controllers that get close, but nothing beats the real thing.
I mean, if you don’t like the games, then it’s probably not worth it.
That’s what I was driving at. I guess I didn’t make the sarcasm clear enough.
That’s the joke.
Did John Roberts express incredulity at the idea that bigotry toward Muslims even exists, much less was the driving force behind this policy?
Starting an opinion with “Regardless of the motivation behind the decision” when the debate is entirely about the motivation behind the decision kinda makes your opinion useless.
A representative republic and one person = one vote are not in any mutually exclusive. And the infallible Founders also very carefully designed a system that would preserve slavery, among other things.
It has prevented Dems from taking the executive branch twice out of the last five elections.
This makes the very flawed assumption that those that don’t vote are demographically split identically to those that do.
Trump got fewer votes. He lost the election.
These guys’ schtick seems like something I would have found hilarious in high school, when I was young and stupid and terrible and dressed like these guys. Haha, EL PREZ! Funny face! RIGGS! What a wierdo! BIG CAT! Look at his stupid mustache and open mouth! Say something edgy, bros! CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG
So what do you suppose the ratio is between the times this thing has been used in an actual, honest-to-God “We gotta break down this wall to save lives!” circumstance, as opposed to “Hey Clem! Come lookit us blow up this wall!” circumstance?
And then we need a quantified accounting of why the life of the EPA director is worth so many millions of dollars. Let’s pretend the worst happens — is Scott Pruitt so incredibly valuable to the functions of the EPA that he couldn’t be adequately replaced? That his absence would actually cost more than paying millions…
Who are the members of his security team and its contractor and how much are they stealing from the American taxpayer to protect Scott Pruitt from nonexistent threats?
