It’s definitely this. It was a dog whistle with plausible deniability. Getting people to complain about her “innocent” hand gesture only feeds the propaganda narrative she builds on every f’ing day on her various programs.

I don’t think she made a mistake, I think she did that brief hand gesture on purpose, both as a dog whistle and to “troll the libs.” It’s short enough that she and her shithead fans can claim plausible deniability, which is the game they always play with this crap, while sending an affirmative signal to the actual

That’s not irony, it’s hypocrisy and projection, and it is very deliberate.

That’s the game. If Republicans are accusing somebody else of doing something, there’s like a 95% chance that they’ve done it recently or are currently doing it.

I suspect it’s because they believe there were positive aspects to slavery, even from a slave’s perspective, because a solid third of this country (and likely more in Texas) are unapologetic fascists that would welcome back slavery (of people that aren’t like them, of course) with open arms.

But this topic, and the sarcastic post you replied to, was specifically about birpartisanship with those that oppose basic human rights.

The South wanted to keep slavery because they believed blacks (and other non-whites) were subhuman and deserving of subjugation. Economic considerations were secondary and shared by only by very small minority of wealthy land-owners and industrialists.

I think they also don’t like it because of what appears to be happening — if and when Moviepass goes under, the big theater chains are going to have to fight to get even a portion of what they’re owed.

I mean, it’s not like they took a naughty photo 10 years ago or allegedly put their hand on a woman’s butt during a photo op. This is clearly an instance where we have to wait until the investigation is concluded before demanding strong action.

Every university could shut down every fraternity and the world would be a better place.

But you said it would be likely before the midterms.

It won’t lead to impeachment, though.

I’m really finding it tough to believe that Trump will actually show the guts to fire Mueller since everybody in his own party would likely turn against him. And makes it far more likely that they move to impeach him even before the Dems retake control in the mid-terms.

And even if such a relationship between a “liberal” media personality and, I don’t know, Hillary’s lawyer? happened, say, tomorrow, Hannity would not only go wild, he’d somehow argue both that that person should be fired and face some kind of legal charges, and that it vindicated him.

Sean Hannity, who regularly coordinates talking points and messaging with the president of the United States, accuses his opponents of engaging in state-sponsored propaganda.

She would also be forced to resign, because non-Republicans have to actually respect and adhere to ethical standards and norms.

I know the article already points this out, but it seems to worth repeating, over and over, just how blatant this projection really is. Hannity is describing word-for-word what he is doing and has done for two decades.

Interesting. I assume that the fact that there are pro-life democrats, doesn’t get a lot of coverage in the international media.

There will never be more than two viable parties in our current system, which requires coalition building to win elections.

Trump didn’t win the election. He got fewer votes.
