There’s not much to say about it, really. Everyone else in the film became a notable star on some level except for her. She was also the only minority in the film with a substantial role. Simple math, unfortunately.

I thought that this episode displayed an outdated truth that only applies to an older generation of black women. From my (anecdotal) observations, this is less of an issue for younger black women as they are less averse to dating non-black men and the subsequent expanded dating pool makes dating less of a struggle.

A24 is the best production company going at the moment (slight edge over Annapurna) so I believe in anything they get behind until it’s released and we see otherwise.

Is this like when Sam Bee reached across the aisle to Glenn Beck in the lead up to November in 2016 and then when Trump pulled off the upset, Beck did a complete 180 and Bee pretended that never happened?

The sketch could’ve ended with, say, the server interrupting with a strong stance against clear sexual violation, but I’m no comedy writer.
