@milleshregaw: I'm with you there. Our generation is one of the last to ever use a phone book.

I work as a designer for a Yellowpages company (actually, a company that formats ads to send to publications.. but I digress.). Here's a quick history lesson:

@Poltron.Galantine: Like I said in my post, velcro does a lot to protect the device its attached to. And it offers something to grip on our oh-so-slippery mobiles.

Yeah you can do all this. Or you can get a $4 strip of industry velcro.

I vote for Airvideo over streamtome any day. And splashtop is a wicked easy local VNC client with outstanding media support (watch flash videos on the ipad via your computer without a stutter to speak of.). and its only $5.

@pwheeler: I can't find it either and I'm in the USofA. I'm sure there's a package floatin around on the interwebs somewhere tho

@Otto-Mann: That's exactly why I haven't seen it. I fancy myself a film buff but I can't stand Tom Cruise's celebrity. This has been on my to-see list for a while but every time I think of watching it Knight and Day flashes before my eyes, and I shudder...

@TheClap: Yea it was. Still, would've been suhweet.

@aquaclear: There's a lot of stories about iPhone stuff because iPhone is where the developers are at in this stage of the game. Its a lot easier for a company like this to create apps for a single device than it is to test on the dozens of different standards and versions that Android devices have out there. More

I refuse to pay for formatting. All the information can be had elsewhere for free.

I've never seen Top Gun.

The basic knowledge weened from these first three tutorials were enough to look like I knew what I was doing with script in front of my boss. I just got a $1/h raise thanks to lifehacker :D

@Deckard: How about an ipod/iphone's screen acting as a remote control? I'd be stoked to see someone implement that. mmmmmm

I got this game after the glowing review it got yesterday on here. I must say I'm enjoying it a great deal. Super spooky.

@Charliehorse: If your post isn't translated into a climactic episode of 24 some day it I'll be saddened.
