I’m in the same BOAT (literally). An EV would be awesome for my commute, but I own a boat and don’t want a dedicated tow vehicle, so the range extender is perfect for me.  I’ve extremely interested in the scout, but I don’t see any purpose in making a reservation.

For my own use case, I’d go for the range extender one but not the EV-only one. I work from home and have no commute, and I would like something that runs electric-only around town. I also tow my race car long distances and cannot feasibly stop to charge in rural areas with a trailer attached.

Too much for a car with all those miles. Plus the CL ad has all those dealer/broker keywords at the bottom so you just know this ins’t an easygoing car-guy looking to sell his car to another enthusiast – dollars to donuts he’s a insufferable jerk that “knows what he’s got” and there’s a FJB sticker on the back of that…
