Dodge Caliber:

If it’s a short one, sure! You could also maybe fit a T-shirt and pair of pants if you folded them neatly. And wear the same shoes again the next day.  Practical!

Also unsurprising that he was among the victims of his corner-cutting, truth-bending, and denialism. Unfortunately, he took other innocent people with him.

Around here Prius’ are driven just like every other car on the road.  not sure where you’re getting your experience from - but it’s completely at odds with what I’ve seen.

The Plymouth Prowler’s entirely useless trunk is one of the funniest car design features I’ve ever seen. What are you gonna fit in this, a paperback book?

The Chevy SSR. Unnervingly ugly, not good at anything except acting as a callout to other drivers that you make poor decisions. And in convertible form, it just looked worse.

1st Gear: Waiting for Trump to say what he always says without a plan to back it up: “This never would have happened if I was president”.

That truck is a serious money maker. Nice price all day long.

I love how the dude in the video basically flashbanged himself with the first shot because, you know, he’s firing a gun inside his car, but he just keeps shooting even though he can’t hold his gun straight or even look where he’s shooting.

I’m hearing different advice whispered into each ear:

You will die very quickly if you are in a little car and a 6000 or 7000 pound SUV or pick up decides to mate with you. I know from what I speak. I live in Florida. We must have seven or eight of those a month and that’s in a county most people think is civilized.

There’s something to be said about American engineering. They can make some of the most competitive performance cars with the most simplest techniques. When they get it right, they get it right.

I think the problem is that the vast majority of “interesting” cars are expensive.

Sure, tall hoods are worse for pedestrian safety, but not all new cars have tall hoods. And I know some new cars - certainly Volvo - designs cars specifically to account for accidents with pedestrians. It’s one thing to say new, giant, SUVs and pick ups are bad for pedestrian safety - but that’s not the same as all

If you can't find anything interesting in 2024 cars, you're not really into cars.

You picked about the most flattering pic for the ‘Yota. Whatever trim has the grill surround in silver.. oof.

I think the true turning point was 1995, when Dodge restyled the front of the Ram to look like a semi so it would be more intimidating. Almost everything since then has just been a stupid agro arms race.

In my opinion it gets even worse in the later model years when they moved the bowtie even higher.

It’s... A lot. It’s one of those things that makes you wonder, “how many American flags equal one Confederate flag?”

I can detect the Boomer Hoarder Smell from here.
