Do you know what the deadliest animal in the US is?

If you do a lot of highway miles, this thing will eat ’em up in serene comfort.

One even had a ring of fire as drivers did donuts around it.

Any cars with patina.

Late model Jeep Wranglers with lifts, neon headlights, and other gaudy accessories that will only be used for mall-crawling. Sometimes you will see a dozen of Jeeps these lined up at Cars and Coffee.

Chip Foose ruined everything.

I Stopped going to car shows years ago. Its not just the model of vehicle but the fact that MOST people who restore them have ZERO good taste. I absolutely hate all of those “hot rods” that have been painted some awful, garish color like purple, fluorescent orange or whatever with cheesy chrome rims.

Maybe some will

Exactly. No CarPlay / Android Auto, no sale. The experience is always superior, and I don’t have to subscribe to anything.

This is such a massive unforced error by GM. No way am I buying a vehicle that does not have CarPlay. My apps and info move between all my cars currently and I do not even have to think about it.

It’s not so much the car but the placards with specs that I hate seeing. They’re called Boomer Boards and there’s a Facebook group dedicated to making fun of them.

Resto-mod ‘69 Camaros:

Basically any new cars. You Corvette fresh off the dealer lot is not special. If we want to see one we can go to the dealership ourselves or just wait to see one rolling down the road. I remember when the HHR and Prowler first came out and some people actually entered them into car shows. It was pretty lame to say the

I respect all cars and the enthusiasm the owners bring to the hobby, no matter what car they bring to the show.

Except Dodge Challengers.  Fuck Challengers.

Counterpoint: He is smart in exactly zero ways, he is a conman and a snake oil salesman who got rich marketing the ingenuity of others.

“Tesla not showing its tech is most likely a sign that it is so far advanced that they don’t feel comfortable having it visible to the average show goer. Definitely buy stock now.” - Tesla investors, probably

I don’t think it’s fair to say we’ve gotten “worse.” Apollo had only 11 successful flights (one almost resulted in a total loss), and had one fatal hull loss on the launch pad. So the fatal incident rate was close to 10%, and was nearly 20% if they hadn’t rescued Apollo 13. The Space Shuttle had two hull losses in 135

even with major issues Apollo 13 was able to return to earth.

Tinted or blackout head/taillamp covers. If you are rear-ended with these on, all fault should be on you.

This is a new thing, and I’ve been seeing it everywhere, student driver bumper stickers on obviously not student driver vehicles. I don’t get the joke, and you’re an asshole.

Tinted headlight and taillight covers. Yeah, I want it harder to see and be seen at night.
