NP assuming it passes a good inspection — the seller’s shop would make me cautious as to whether this thing was repaired and cobbled together – but assuming it’s unmolested, heck yea. It’s a pretty car, it doesn’t have that sure-to-be-problematic touchscreen, and most parts should be available for many years to come.

Perfect scenario:

Awesome. I wonder if it runs —- I’d love to see this thing bring a bunch of women, black people, LGBTQ folks, and Hispanics to the step of the Capitol for a rally.

Exactly this. I liken it to offering your neighbor a beer on a hot day. Even if you never really socialize with him it at least makes you look like a good guy. And then a few years from now when that tree falls on your mutual fence there’s immediate goodwill to fix the problem together, as opposed to immediately go

You’re giving Clarence Thomas an idea...

I just saw a Silverado EV in the wild for the first time. Looked pretty nice — especially when you compare it to the HS science fair project quality of build you see on the CT.

Oh, the all the voices in my head are bickering:

There are lots of concept drawings for just such a beast out there. I like this one myself:

Meanwhile, Trump is probably noodling around with his sharpie to design an oil drilling rig for the Space Force.

Terrific, now make them look a bit different from each other, too.

Or DJT will just dismissively wave his hand to the FAA investigators and tell them not to bother looking into it.

I think these brute trucks are getting way out of hand, but I like the idea for this beast. Why the hell not?

I agree the port location should be standardized. And I can actually see a legit purpose for it being in the back so that you need to back in — at least this way if you’re sitting in the car while it’s charging you’ll be aware of other cars lining up to be next and not be situationally unaware/heads-down while streamin

Fair enough. Perhaps a better buyer profile for this car would be a guy that wants the poors to envy/hate him but he’s really not as rich as he is dickish.

Not sure who the market is for these cars. I mean, the truly rich want the latest and greatest bespoke models to show off; this strikes me as a toy some aristocrat got bored with. So what does buying this one say about the buyer? Can’t afford a new one? Stretching to be a bit of a poser? Not really an enthusiast but so

Also just missing the on-sale-now boat but I bet clean, stock Subaru WRX variations will command some good money down the road, like a clean 1990 CRX would do today.

Bring it on. Every extra $50/month the die-hard MAGA’s have to spend on gas is $50 they can’t spend on Elon’s/Trump’s/Milania’s/Pastor Bob’s bitcoin scheme.

What, no one wants to bring their car to flat, straight Florida?

And just an hour ago he messaged on unTruth Social that the Army helicopter was too high. So yea, that’s a DEI-thing.
