I actually had to double-dare myself just to get up the courage.

Dare I say it, but is this car approaching the size and luxury-barge class that suggests that it’s really more of a poser cruiser than it is a sports car? How much fun can it be to “zip” around at 3/10s in a car like this? Isn’t 8/10ths in a Miata/BRZ a whole lot more fun and in character for a sports car?
NP because in a few years when the Soviets invade you’ll get at least a curious reception (instead of being shot on sight) when you emerge from the Minnesota woods in this thing.
Well, to be fair this is really a form-following-function kind of thing. It’s not like space vehicles are designed to sell themselves in a dealer showroom.
After far to many experiences with Avis and Budget, this sounds like it would be the best rental car experience I could ever imagine having.
I’d sarcastically suggest he start a race team called “Mamma’s Boy Racing” but chances are good today’s influencer world would latch onto it and he’d make a fortune.
This is uncomfortably close to being an actual scene from “Idiocracy”.
I remember seeing this at Harrah’s, too back around 1980 or so. That collection was insane -- it was like warehouse after warehouse of amazing cars. And some neat boats, too.
Legal lane splitting at speed is a horrible idea. Yes it improves time for the riders, but like anything else it’s a thing that will be abused and exploited, leading to tons of issues. More bikes (and likely more inexperienced riders) means more crashes (thus more traffic jams) and more small accidents (more cars hit-a…
That’s freaking awesome.
Years ago I joined a business networking group where all the small business owners were there to look out for each other and help find referrals. One of the guys owned a local repair shop and I had already done some reduced-cost work for him since we were in the business group. Then one day I took my wife’s otherwise…
Wow, I clicked on this story to see how near in Florida it would be to me, but I was pleasantly shocked to see it was in Arizona.
Yup! I’m fortunate to be fairly comfortable and plan to curtail my spending to only the very necessary items for the next few years. Let the tariffs hit everyone that voted for the Orange one; it can be their problem. If the economy follows into a slowdown or recession; gosh, don’t expect me to be heartbroken to see…
NP for a neat hobby car. Are you going to take the family on cross country road trips with it? No. But are you going to enjoy the occasional Saturday morning in the garage doing some relatively simple -- and satisfying wrenching? Sure. And you’re going to meet some down to earth people when out and about, too. This…
Can someone do the math and let me know how long it will take for every existing Tesla driver to snuff himself out?
Restomods can be very cool and enjoyable, but the Mustang featured here just seems more Cos-play to me. And honestly, it doesn’t look all that good. Too much “look at me” going on.
I hope — HOPE — that when Trump expires some sanity will return to many members of the GOP and they’ll realize that they have to answer to their constutients if they want to stay in office. I don’t think JD has the magnetism to hold the movement together -- there will be a lot of infighting when DJT is gone.
That’s going to be one soggy patch of brown grass, I can assure you. There will be a 24/7 line of people waiting, and I’ll be on the side selling bottled water.
Not the perfect one in my world, but for $10K it might scratch my lifelong 928 itch. I’d change out or refinish the wheels, do something to fill those speaker holes, and find some way to get that trim back to black. I’d be a fin car to tinker on and cruise around it. NP for the experience.
