Yup. My fear is that they’re ready to go even further.

Those numbers just don’t line up at all. Let’s say they had a million deposits/reservations. That’s 1 in every 300 Americans. Now figure that half of America has pretty much ruled out an EV, at least for now. And at least half of those those that would consider an EV won’t consider a Tesla and/or think the CT is a

On second thought, I’m changing my vote to ND. I’ve looked around my local CL and you can in fact find a lot of 2012-2016 Foresters for around 8K, and they’re far better machines with not too much more mileage.

This almost makes me want to buy a few good clean used cars and sit on them — because new car prices are going to SKYROCKET if there are huge tariffs on foreign made cars and all the imported parts.

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but here in SWFL — tradtionally a MAGA stronghold — you don’t see nearly the amount of trump signs in front yards as you did in 2020. Sure, there are plenty of hardcore morons with their trump flags and all, but overall I think/hope that a fair number of people may have quiet quit the

Musk campaigning for Trump with his “Dark Maga” hat and theme seems even scarier than just Trump being elected. I suspect when they say “Dark Maga”, they truly have some nasty ideas waiting to implement.

I’m going NP. It’s a simple, clean, likely very reliable box that will serve for years of running to home depot, the trail head, beach, kayak launch, etc. Restore that black plastic trim, tint the windows and put a safari rack on the roof and you’ve got a car with some character. Or give it to you your teen as a safe,

Three of us have named the Beretta. I think we have enough to start a support group.

Still looks pretty sharp, tbh. Of course it falls down on performance and quality.

I’m with you. I’d happily have a late 1990s GM sedan like a LeSabre or Park Avenue as my ironic sleeper/beater car. Pretty much any 3800; supercharged would be a bonus.

Insane. It seems like not long ago — 1990 or so — that a car topping 150 was pretty wild. Now we’re nearly 100mph past that.

This article is nothing but begging for straw-man arguments about who needs what truck and why — it’s sadly divisive when there’s no need. To recap:

Me too, though I think we’d both be shocked by how small and terrifyingly flimsy those things are, especially with the R5 GT Turbo basically cranking that chassis up to 11.

Man, I just love the idea of an EV DMC-12. It’s almost like Back to the Future II coming true with the proper mechanical updates for that car.

I was a latch-key kid of the 80s with parents going through a divorce, but even those factors don’t excuse or explain my love of GM’s plastic-clad performance variants. Grand Prix, Beretta GTU, Eurosport VR... it’s amazing that I’m a functional adult.

It’s a decent, fun, wrench-able hobby car under all that vinyl, and at that asking price I’d be tempted to call (assuming I was looking for a Z to re-live my youth). As with anything this old, be prepared to pay an extra grand or two get the car that isn’t a fundamental rust-bucket or haked up project. This one only

Perfect summary of SWFL.

No, I get that they’re a menace. But blaming the airline for one single bug that you many have brought in yourself is a bit extreme. Isn’t the mature, civil way to handle this to just call it to the attention of the flight crew so that they can monitor the situation and take action if needed?

Very cool and interesting car, but I suspect that the novelty would wear off pretty quickly. ND here.

Icky, but it’s a bug. If a bee flew into the cabin would any passenger legitimately think they were entitled to 7500 frequent flier miles? And as other’s have noted, how d owe don’t know the passenger themself didn’t bring it on board?
