Chevy HHR. I rented one once and drove it across all of Nevada and Arizona and honestly thought it was a decent little car. Held lots of stuff, decent stereo, and funky in its own way. I even started thinking about getting an HHR SS panel after that, but I couldn’t quite make the leap.

I’ll agree with you and give you a star, but this isn’t a hill I’m willing to die on.

I’m going to be the contrarian here and say NP IF you’re one of the 4 or 5 people in the world that want this car and want it modified this way — but I doubt that the seller is going to find his 4 other automotive soulmates on Craiglist. Like everyone else on here I’d have no interest in this car, but that doesn’t

I must be becoming an actual southerner (lived most of my life in the north east) but I just had this crazy idea -- buy this car for the engine and transplant it into something completely unexpected, like an old Chevette or something. How fun would that be?

Well, this suggest to me that the ex-wife was the bread earner and she was tired of Mr. Two SUVS and a Camry and wanted someone interested in an actual mature relationship, so she kicked him to the curb with a small settlement that he’s about to piss away — which will be further proof that she made the right decision.

Too soon?

Too bad Robert F. Kennedy is dropping out of the race. This would have been a great campaign talking point for him.

This whole approach seems crazy-risky to me. Everyone will be depressurized for the duration, so if something goes wrong there’s no one in any kind of “safe space” to work the problem. Sad to say I have a bad feeling about this mission.

They’re going to sit around and watch more FOX tv.

Miata is always the answer, right? And to me, it’s true. She’s a beauty that’s actually attainable, and she’ll move you in all the right ways. Cold supermodels/supercars never do it for me. I want the girl next door.

If I’m interpreting that windshield sticker correctly, this thing hasn’t been legally on the road since October of 2019. If the car itself wasn’t enough of a giant, literal red flag...

Saw what you will about Stellantis and the Gladiator, but RIP to the guy that lost his life. No one deserves to die a sudden, presumably painful death while on the clock trying to provide for his family.

I could see these being popular in retirement areas. You’ve got the nostalgia going for it, easy for 3 couples to get in and out on their way to dinner or wherever, and a market loaded with disposable “can’t take it with you” money. Plus, in The Villages the old horn-dogs would have room to shag.

Sure it’s click bait. But if he really wanted to “own” HD for it’s sins, wouldn’t it have just been smarter to sell the bike and walk away with some money? (with which he could then wisely invest in a MAGA donation to Trump!)

If you’re a better-than-average home mechanic/jack of all trades (wiring, bodywork, internet parts-sourcing/maybe welding) with time on your hands, this might be a fun project car. But $2000 is probably the most any rational person would pay for this. In a world with 30+ years of used Miatas out there, there are far

These are all the ingredients for a very interesting Venn diagram.

lol. I didn’t say I’d have room to open the doors or walk around it!

Smaller, more affordable and longer range? Crazy — I mean, whoever heard of potential customers begging for that? /s

I’m hoping the videos go away next!

Also, assuming there’s a Stellantis garage sale coming up, who buys Jeep and Ram? Mercedes? VAG? A Chinese conglomerate?
